Shift Closing — All Registered Machines
Every registered machine must be recorded, including machines that were not played.
HOW TO COMPLETE SHIFT CLOSING
Cash In movement = Cash In Closing − Cash In Opening.
Cash Out movement = Cash Out Closing − Cash Out Opening.
Machine net result = Cash In movement − Cash Out movement.
- Cash In Opening: Read the machine's cumulative Cash In meter at the beginning of your shift.
- Cash In Closing: Read the same meter at the end of your shift.
- Cash Out Opening: Read the machine's cumulative Cash Out meter at the beginning of your shift.
- Cash Out Closing: Read the same meter at the end of your shift.
- Played — Yes: Select Yes if the machine was played during your shift.
- Played — No: Select No if the machine was not played. Both closing readings must remain equal to their opening readings.
- These are cumulative meter readings displayed on the machine, not the physical cash counted at the cashier.
- Every registered machine must be recorded, whether played or not.
- Your opening readings must match the previous shift's closing readings.
- Never guess a reading. Ask the Manager or Administrator if a first meter baseline is missing or a reading does not balance.
- Check every machine before clicking Submit and Lock Complete Shift.
